Expression of Interest Tender No. EOI/EU/13/2014-2015:
Acquisition of Consultancy Services for Proposed Construction of Teaching Facility in Nakuru Town
1. Background Information:
Egerton University is a Public University established in 1987 and Chartered in 2013 under the Universities Act No.42 of 2012.
The University would like to invite expression of interest (EOI) from a consortium of consultants for Architectural, Quantity Surveying, Structural Engineering, Electrical and Mechanical Services for the proposed construction of teaching complex in Nakuru town on a approximately one (1) acre land.
2. Scope of the assignment
The scope will include but not limited to;
i. Preparing designs option.
ii. Prepare cost estimates (Bill of Quantities)
iii. Prepare a detail design
iv. Prepare tender documents
v. Supervision
vi. Commissioning and handover of the project
3. Eligibility
The Lead Consultant should submit the following documents for all firms in the consortium;
i. Company profile
ii. CVs of proposed staff
iii. Certificate of business registration/incorporation
iv. Two copies of expression of interest(EOI) documents (original and a copy)
v. Details of at least three similar consultancy services the firms have undertaken in the past five (5) years
vi. Reference letters from three organizations mentioned in (v) above
The complete EOI document should be in plain sealed envelope indicating “Tender No. and Name” in “Original” and “Copy” properly bound without identifying the sender and addressed to:

Or placed in the Tender Box at the Procurement Department, Njoro Campus ON or BEFORE Thursday 16th October, 2014 at 11.00 am. Bids submitted later than this date and time shall be returned unopened.
Opening of the bids will take place immediately thereafter in the presence of bidders/their representatives who choose to attend.
