Our goal areas and cross-cutting themes are; universal access to energy; urban water, sanitation and waste services; food security, agriculture and disaster risk reduction, Markets development, gender and climate change.
Practical Action is currently implementing a WASH Programme in Nakuru – in Mwariki, Ronda and Kaptembwo settlements in partnership with among others; K- Rep Bank, Nakuru County Government and the Kenya Wash Alliance.
The overall purpose of the project is reduce poverty through improved environmental health and economic conditions by empowering people and creating an enabling environment aiming at achieving increased sustainable access to safe water and sanitation services
To assist in the implementation of the project, Practical action is inviting proposals from suitably qualified individuals or consultancy firms with the ability to provide technical and business skills capacity development for sanitation and waste management Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) working in low income areas in Nakuru West Sub County, Nakuru County
Objectives of the assignment
Specifically, under the leadership and with support of the project manager, the consultant will undertake the following assignment:
