Educating Africans, Building Strong Communities

Advance Africa is an International Non-governmental Organization with Registration Certificate No. OP.218/051/2008/0383/5376 registered under NGO Act in Kenya.
Our operations are throughout Africa with head offices in Nairobi, Kenya.
Every year we enable thousands of students in developing countries get scholarships and further their education.
We also enable hundreds of volunteers to work in communities in Africa providing desperately needed services such as:

Helping in hospitals, clinics, maternities, hospices and other health institutions.

Teaching in schools in deprived areas.

Caring for street children and HIV/Aids orphans in various children's homes.

Building schools, clinics, and houses for low-income families.

Reaching out to the hungry, the homeless, special needs children and the elderly.

Our volunteers provide outstanding service within the communities we work in.

But they do more than volunteer. They apply their knowledge and skills in ways that will bring about lasting change; and help alleviate poverty through education, creating self-reliance and building strong communities.
They also support our work here at Advance Africa which is to:

Work in slums to enhance access to health and education.

Offer support to vulnerable families and individuals in deprived areas.

Support community outreach work, women groups and women's empowerment.

Improve the lives of children and women in African countries.

Break the cycle of poverty in Africa by helping to meet the educational needs of children in deprived and poverty-stricken communities.

Enhancing educational opportunities of students in Africa by providing free information on the website about scholarships available to them around the world. Information about internships and jobs is also provided.
